You can tell he’s excited because he autosits at the sight of the packet, and once we give him one, he takes it straight into the garden to enjoy.We’re quite particular about the treats we give him. While he occasionally gets biscuits, we prefer options with high meat content and minimal fillers—and these fit the bill perfectly.Made with simple, high-quality ingredients, the main component is chicken breast (85%), providing a rich source of protein. With 50% protein and just 4.5% fat, they’re a wholesome, grain-free option.The 200g pack contains around 5–7 generous fillets. They’re soft enough to tear into smaller pieces for training, yet chewy enough to keep him occupied for a few minutes—ideal for calming him when guests arrive.At £9.99, they are a little pricey but cutting them into smaller pieces helps them go further. These air-dried chicken fillets went down a treat with my dog. You can either give them to your dog whole, or cut them into pieces for treats and training. It doesn't take my dog long to get through one, but as it's chewy, it's not gone in a second like a regular treat. We give one to our dog when we watch something in the evening, to get him settled on his bed.You get 5 in the pack, and although the pack says 100% chicken on the front, it's actually 85% (as they have other ingredients mixed in). They also spelt complementary wrong on the back of the pack. I find £9.99 a bit expensive for what you're getting, but my dog definitely enjoys them.

The strips are pretty big (especially compared to the brand's duck strips, so there aren't many in the bag; we had seven. Our dog can't count though, so her only concern is the taste, and she loves them. Compared to other chews it takes her at least two minutes to get through one, due to the size.You can smell them as soon as you open the bag, and if you can smell them, the dog definitely can! They're not a bad smell, just a very meaty smell.There are far cheaper treats available of course, but they may be bulked out with fillers whereas these are 85% dried chicken.They ought to proof-read the bag though; they're a complementary pet food (to go with their dinner) not a complimentary pet food ("you've finished your dinner, congratulations, well done").

These are one of my dogs favourite treats . Several company’s produce them -They vary in process due to offers and supermarkets. These are the more expensive side , hence the drop of a star. However , they are very good quality and large in size. I chop these into three to make them last longer. There were 5 in the packet.The big seal of approval comes from dog- she wolf’s them down.

Our Charlie Bear loved these! The drool started the moment the bag opened, and there was a sizeable puddle by the time he had finished! They smell great and have a good texture too - firm without being brittle. They are easy to cut into smaller pieces too for training purposes! They certainly focused Charlie's mind, and he is usually....easily distracted! 🤣 We also tried the duck flavour ones and the rabbit ears, which also went down very well! Would recommend and will be buying again!

Both of my dogs absolutely love these chewy chicken fillets. They are high protein and low fat so they are definitely a great, healthy treat. They actually have a pretty nice smell in my opinion. You don't get many in a pack, both of my dogs could've eaten the whole pack to themselves if they had the chance. However, each fillet is quite large, so one treat is more than enough to give them, especially if you have a smaller dog. Both of my dogs are a larger breed, so these are about the right size for them, but the treats only lasted around a week. They are quite chewy, they feel sort of like leather but they are not fully dried out so they don't create any crumbs etc.

This is a pack of large chicken treats, made with real chicken and no nonsense additives. My Springer went wild for them and, despite the fact she’s something of a power gnawer and food hoover, they lasted relatively well and gave her a good contest. They’re large, thick and relatively tough, perfect for the dog to get into and work on. I’m happy with the ingredients in terms of healthiness, and the texture is good for dental cleaning as well via abrasion.I’d call these ‘high value’ in the training sense, meaning that they’re basically irresistible to the dog and can therefore be used as a major reward after positive behaviour/response. If you’re training your dog I’d really recommend a pack of these to get the message across.With six pieces in the pack they’re good value, and more or less on par with what my local dog shop would be charging for real chicken treats of this size.Overall a good quality dog treat with lots to recommend.

TLDR: Quality product with good, low-fat, natural ingredients, but in our case, it was gulped and not chewed :)This is a review for Hungry Horse Chewy Chicken Fillets for Dogs. You get six fillets in the bag. They are clearly chicken breast fillets air-dried for packaging, and from the ingredients, there are just fillets (85%) and a few pretty natural ingredients and no nasties. The result is a natural fillet (dehydrated) with a decent meaty smell and chewy texture (not that I chewed it, of course).My pack was ordered in March 2026 and came with a best before of May 2027, so it had a long shelf life. With only six in a pack, however, these are not going to last very long at all! We got these for a friend’s dog that we like to treat; he is quite small and has treats/rewards only occasionally. They are not cheap, so I wouldn’t be using these as a daily treat, and indeed, for the first try, the treat was halved for him.You can smell the meatiness as soon as you open the packet. Dogs will eat almost anything offered, I’m sure, so it is pretty difficult to judge how good these are compared to others. But by the doggo’s reaction as he wolfed his half fillet down, with it barely touching the sides, he liked it. It is difficult to know personally whether it is great to gnaw and chew because it went in a flash. If that is a rating, then it is a 5-star rating from its canine consumer, but for me, that is an expensive way of dealing with a snack. For me, I think it will be cut even smaller and used as simple treats to make this pack last and worthwhile. Perhaps the duck strips will be a better fit for this particular dog.As a high-quality, high-protein, and low-fat snack, I won’t fault this, and you can certainly see what you are getting. The dog enjoyed it, but I don’t think it is best value and the best snack for him. Pretty much every dog in the world might have a different opinion, of course, so my rating is based on cost. You can get better quantity for your money, but I would argue that you won’t get better quality. If your dog chews his or her snacks and you want to give them premium treats (perhaps better than what you eat), then this is for you.

I asked Judy, the dog , what she thought of these.Well in a manner of speaking. I mean this comes down to whether she liked these and in fact she went mad for them !They have chicken in them which is a good start because that is her favourite food . They are nice big bite sized pieces which is fine too .It is great to give her something other than the usual supermarket treats and these certainly fit the bill .Yes these are a little pricier but for an occasional treat they are a good investment.They are well-made, reasonably priced and good value.

The doggo certainly loved these. They seem like decent quality with good sized chunky bits of chicken. The presentation is nice, and the resealable packet is very handy.At £9.99 they feel a bit pricey for what you get. They still contain additives, and there is nothing to suggest the chicken is super high quality. I would happily pay a premium for top tier meat, but these just seem like the standard ones we grab on our weekly shop.If on offer or in a pinch if we're not heading out for a while I would consider buying again.
